Sarah Jones is a Bay Area-based journalist, musician, and longtime advocate for the music-making community. For more than 25 years, she’s been telling the stories behind the music—formerly as editor-in-chief of Mix, Electronic Musician, and EQ magazines, and today as a contributor to Grammy.com, Billboard, Popular Science, and other publications. She recently led the effort to produce the Recording Academy’s updated Delivery Recommendations for Recorded Music Projects—an essential resource for music creators, content owners, and students. A former Associate Director of Women’s Audio Mission, Sarah is an elected governor and Education co-chair of the San Francisco Chapter of the Recording Academy, where she’s currently planning the 2026 edition of the Music Business Night School career-development program for music makers. www.hiresarahjones.com.
