Songwriting Coach

Jai Josefs is a world renowned songwriting coach. Many of his students have gone on to successful careers in the industry and secured major label record deals, publishing deals, placements in film and television, and literally millions of streams on YouTube and Spotify. He has taught songwriting at UCLA and at dozens of seminars and conferences throughout North America, in addition to leading his monthly SongShop and working with private clients worldwide. His book “Writing Music For Hit Songs”, published by Simon And Shuster, has been endorsed by hit writers including Diane Warren and used as a text on contemporary music composition at colleges and universities throughout the US and Europe.

Jai has also had a successful career as a songwriter/producer doing projects for such companies as Universal, RCA, Motown, and Disney. His original songs have been featured in over two dozen major motion pictures with such stars as Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Jessica Lange, Mark Wahlberg, and Billy Bob Thornton as well as over 80 TV shows on every major network including NBC, CBS, ABC, HBO, and FOX.
