Presented by Neon Owl and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, this session features electronic artist JVNA breaking down one of her latest tracks and sharing insights into her creative and technical process. A must-attend for producers, songwriters, and fans of cinematic, genre-blending electronic music.
Finding “Extra” in the “Ordinary” with LINNEY
Inspiration hides in everyday moments — as long as you’re ready to catch it. This workshop explores how to turn fleeting emotions into lasting art, magnify what you feel, and transform struggle into something meaningful. Through song examples and creative exercises, you’ll learn how to train your artistic instincts, find beauty in the unexpected, and write music that resonates with others. Neon Owl invites DJs and producers from across the country to submit mixes via neonowl.co/openaux for a chance to perform live at The Midway during Music Expo. Finalists will be selected to join the lineup, bringing their communities and energy to the stage.
